Fifteen students graduate from primary school!

Written by our Grade 8 graduates

We are so excited to share with all of you our biggest achievement yet. Fifteen of us graduated from primary school this year!

Life in primary school can be challenging at times. For some of us, eight years of learning was a long time and sometimes a burden, but at the end of the day, all we hope is that our efforts will bear fruits by achieving the marks required to join a good High School. Our marks will be announced late December.

We are all very proud to share with you that amongst us were quite a few movers and shakers. Mitchell, attending Kilgoris Primary School, was the monitor of her class. Mercy, also a girl in Kilgoris, was elected head girl. Mary was the dorm prefect and Evans made the boys proud by becoming the head boy of his school!

As a group, we can all say confidently that the last eight years have given us much knowledge, confidence and a healthy dose of self esteem. We could not have done this without the help of our teachers, the support of HHFL nor the generosity and encouragement of our donors. Asante Sana to all.

May you live to blow a hundred candles! All of us wish you and your families a happy and joyous festive season and we hope you come and visit us in Lenana soon. Karibu!

Big hugs from the Graduating Grade Eights!
