My internship experience at I&M Bank Limited has been amazing, and it is one that I will certainly never forget in my entire life. The chance to interact and network with people at this level, providing an insight into the workings of I&M Bank delegations has also been an opportunity for me to learn. The internship has provided me with an opportunity to familiarize myself with a variety of banking duties. I have enjoyed my position and continue to learn a lot in the account opening department.
The internship at I&M Bank has also enabled me to put into practice the theories that I learned in class and how to apply them in real challenges. The exposure has allowed me to enhance my knowledge and skills and contributed to my self awareness. It’s made me realize that there is so much I can do and do it well.
Similarly, the internship has also boosted my confidence and pride in a positive way and has therefore enabled me to view situations from more than one point of view and also to stand out strong.
Earlier this month, I represented the Bank at an ‘interbank questions contest’ and I am happy to say that we emerged as the runners-up! It was really a great experience which I will live to remember. The contest involved answering questions from banking, international trade, lending, and general knowledge. As runners-up, we were presented with a trophy and also certificates.
Finally, let me thank you for your continued support that has made us to be who we are today.
Like Mike, HHFL’s post-secondary students are flourishing in their respective institutions but we need continued support to ensure completion of their studies. Support post-secondary education.
