HHFL’s Mike Bundi secures internship at I&M Bank

Letter from HHFL’s Mike Bundi, student at Institute for Monetary Studies, to Ted Horton

It is with great joy for me to have this chance to write to you.

To begin with, I am very happy to inform you that I passed my entire interview at I&M bank. I was therefore considered and given the opportunity to have my internship at the bank. I reported last week for orientation and introduction to other staff members.

My normal work day begins at 8:00 am to 5:15 pm. I normally wake up at 5:00am prepare myself and at 6:30am am out to avoid the traffic and ensure that I am there on time. I am stationed at the main headquarters at the I&M towers buildings downtown.

I am currently deployed at the central account opening department. This is the department that deals with the opening, registering and capturing the information from all the customers who wish to operate any type of account with the bank.

Thank you for making all this possible. I&M Bank is among the leading banks in Kenya. I am therefore happy to have my internship with them since I will be exposed to a lot of banking activities. At the end of my internship, I am expected to have gained a lot of banking experience that will enable me to stand firm and compete with the rest of the world.

I cannot thank you enough for making this dream become a reality. Thank you so much for your kind efforts and support. As pertains by I&M, I will do my level best to make use of this golden opportunity to get the best out of it.

Best wishes, Mike
