Another year, another high school graduate…

Written by Alice

2010 was an amazing year for me, as I became a high school graduate at the end of this year.  I spent four very happy & fruitful years at Nembu Girls High, for which I thank the Lord, HHFL and all the supporters.

2009 was even more amazing as the entire student body elected me to be their prefect.  What an amazing boost that has been to my confidence.  Becoming a leader and knowing that I can be one has been totally inspiring.  The same year I became the choir mistress at school and I discovered a whole new passion.  Upon my return, Mama Hanne, promptly informed me that she had appointed me to be the choir mistress of HHFL!  How proud I am!

I am looking forward to 2011 and my new duties as a staff in training at HHFL and attending the ACWICT Kenya pre-universitary prep course which should point me in the right direction to, eventually, achieve my biggest dream – to become a lawyer! I really think I would make a great lawyer and I will work as hard as I can to make my dream come true.

May you and your familes be blessed this Christmas season.  All of us will be thinking and praying for you.  Thank you for your support, without which I would never have gotten this far.

Faithfully,  Alice
